Franklin Township was incorporated in 1845. It is located in the central
part of Hunterdon County and borders Union Twp, the Town of Clinton,
Clinton Township, Raritan Twp, Delaware Twp, Kingwood Twp and
Alexandria Twp. Franklin is approximately 23 square miles and is home
to about 3,000 residents.
