The Hunterdon County Policemen's Benevolent Association is Hunterdon County's largest police union.
We are comprised of Police Officers from the following municipalities:
Flemington Boro, Frenchtown Boro, High Bridge Boro, Holland Township, West Amwell Township, Town of Clinton,
Delaware Township, Franklin Township, Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office and The City of Lambertville.
Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office
Once a part-time office, the HCPO is staffed with Assistant Prosecutors, Detectives, and support staff dedicated to investigating and prosecuting criminal matter throughout Hunterdon County. The HCPO prides itself on efficiency in moving criminal cases through the court, fairness to victims of crimes, and dedication in ensuring that crimes are thoroughly investigated. The HCPO is primarily located in the Justice Center at 65 Park Avenue, Flemington, NJ.
Franklin Township Police Department
Franklin Township is approximately 23 square miles and is home to about 3,000 residents.
Holland Township Police Department
The Holland Township Police Department will work in partnership with the community to continuously provide a safe and secure environment in which to live, work and visit. In order to provide quality law enforcement services, we hold the following values: We value human life and dignity. We value treating you with fairness and respect. We value integrity in order to maintain the trust and respect of those who depend on us, we will be honest and fair in all of our actions. We value excellence so we can provide the best police service to our community and residents.
Town of Clinton Police Department
The Clinton Police Department is a 24-hour full service agency committed to making Clinton a business or pleasure. We take great pride in maintaining an atmosphere in which our citizens and visitors can enjoy themselves in the charming environment that is Clinton. We strongly believe that visibility, mobility and personal interaction with the public in a positive way by members of the department contribute significantly to our quality of life in Clinton. We also believe that we must be a deterrent to those who are inclined to infringe upon the rights of others through misbehavior, disregard of traffic laws or who simply cause public inconvenience and alarm through inappropriate or illegal actions.
Delaware Township Police Department
Delaware Township was incorporated in 1838. It's police department was started in 1975 Their department consists of 6 full-time officers and a Chief of Police. They also have one part-time officer. Delaware Twp. is located towards the southern end of Hunterdon County.
Flemington Borough Police Department
The Flemington Borough Police Department has provided service and law enforcement to the Borough of Flemington since 1897. The examples for calls for service and law enforcement include, but are not limited to protection of life and property, preservation of the peace, crime prevention, safely and expeditiously regulate and monitor traffic, maintain communications and contact with juveniles and parents, aid citizens in matters within the Borough of Flemington, take appropriate action in aiding fellow Police Departments, and provide service in non-law enforcement situations.
High Bridge Police Department
Of the 26 municipalities in Hunterdon County, High Bridge is one of 14 to have its own police department. The High Bridge Police Department (HBPD) consists of a chief, one sergeant, and five patrolmen. The HBPD provides 24/7 community policing and is a first responder for all emergency calls. Through the Adopt-A-Cop program, the Department offers various services in all grade levels in the High Bridge School system. These include programs for grades kindergarten through fifth grade, which are designed to reinforce lessons covered in the Schools, and fitness programs in grades sixth through eighth in cooperation with the physical education teacher.
Frenchtown Police Department
The Frenchtown Borough Police Department is committed to providing the highest quality of police service and forming partnerships with the community to achieve public satisfaction, making Frenchtown Borough a safe place to live, visit and conduct business. The cornerstone of this Police Department is the relationship we have with the community we serve. Our ability to be effective in carrying out our mission is based on the credibility we have with the community. Understanding that we are a part of and not separate from, the community is critical. Although we are granted responsibility for policing the community, we cannot do it without the cooperation of the public.
Lambertville Police Department
The City of Lambertville Police Department is a progressive, proactive, community-oriented law enforcement agency. We are a full-service department that is operational around-the-clock, seven days a week. Primarily a uniformed patrol-based operation we also provide a criminal investigative function through the assignment of a detective and conduct specialized patrol in the form of bicycle and mounted units.
West Amwell Township Police Department
West Amwell Twp. is located at the southern end of Hunterdon County. It covers approximately 22 square miles. The police department is staffed 24 hours a day and consists of 7 full-time officers and 1 part-time officer.
